Porto Theme & WPALLIMPORT

I tried to utilize the external images plugin I bought yesterday and had no luck. Curious if you have heard of other issues with this theme.

Couple issues:

1) I WAS able to manually update the featured image BUT the image gallery did not display at all.

2) WPALLIMPORT would not accept the custom values I added to import the external images. Looks like these values are serialized in POST-META table, not sure if that matters.

I added them like this:

external_image_url {{photo0}}

external_image_url {{photo1}}

external_image_url {{photo2}}

external_image_url {{photo3}}

external_image_url {{photo4}}

external_image_url {{photo5}}

external_image_url {{photo6}}

external_image_url {{photo7}}

external_image_url {{photo8}}...

external_image_url {{photo20}}

I’ve created a demo of External Images working with the Porto theme here:

It wasn’t working before, but the version 2.61 I’ve released today includes fixes to get the gallery working in the Porto theme. This will fix other themes too.

Also – specifically regarding the WP All Import job you’ve created – that looks correct except you need to include a pipe separator. Like this:
external_image_url {{photo0}}|
external_image_url {{photo1}}|
external_image_url {{photo2}}|
external_image_url {{photo3}}|
