Super Speedy Search, our fast & flexible search plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce, has just been updated to version 5.32. This release brings two WooCommerce order search enhancements and improved compatibility with the Woodmart theme.

Search for Orders based on Products Ordered

Previously, with Super Speedy Search installed, you could search WooCommerce orders based on the SKU of an ordered product. This has been enhanced to make use of all the items you enable in Super Speedy Search including title, description, taxonomies, other meta data.

Search for refunded item now works

Previously, if you searched for an order using the SKU and that item on that order had been refunded, there was a bug appearing on the screen. This has now been fixed.

Woodmart Theme Full Screen Search Compatibility Added

We added Woodmart compatibility quite a while ago, but as is the way with software – things change over time. Woodmart have added a new search overlay and a customer of ours wanted Super Speedy Search to be made compatible. So we did!

I won’t always create a video for minor releases like this, but today I felt like it’s been quite a while since I recorded a video for my customers to show them what I’ve been working on.

How to Update

You can update from your WordPress dashboard under Plugins → Installed Plugins so long as you have your license key entered or download the latest version from your account page.

Summary

A couple of quality of life updates to WooCommerce order search and Woodmart improved compatibility. No engine changes in this release.
