Optimised XML sitemap generation speed
In version 4.44 of Scalability Pro, we added XML sitemap generation optimisations.
These optimisations optimise both Yoast SEO XML sitemap functionality and our recommended BWP Google XML Sitemaps plugin.
To gain these optimisations, activate the plugin then visit the Settings -> Scalability Pro page and click the button to create the supporting index.
The optimisations are achieved by rewriting one query each for the two plugins, and a single supporting index.
On our reference site of 1 million+ products, this changed sitemap generation from upwards of 5 minutes to downwards of 10 seconds.
