Can I delete what an import brought in?

Yes. Use the Delete all … loaded by this import link on the selected import, or wp ssi <id> --delete-all on the command line, which works whatever the import mode is. Read the confirmation to check the scope and whether records go to Trash or are permanently deleted. Keep sold items does not apply here: every item the import loaded is removed, sold or not. Associated records may include items that the import updated as well as created. Removing them doesn’t restore their old values. The completion screen and History show how many items went to the Trash and how many were deleted permanently. Deleting the saved import configuration is a different action.
