How do I migrate imports between sites?

Use the Configuration file (JSON) export and import controls on the Config screen. Export the configuration on the source site, make the source file available on the target, then import the configuration and check its fields, taxonomies and matching settings. Preview before running.
This transfers import configuration, not a whole WordPress site. WordPress record IDs can differ between sites.
