1.13.211 August 2026

  • Updated super-speedy-settings to the latest version

1.13.16 August 2026

  • New rounding rule Nearest 5 or 9, always up. Every price climbs to the nearest amount ending in 5 or 9, never downward - a converted 22.80 becomes 25, a converted 58.80 becomes 59, and a converted 60 becomes 65
  • New advanced control behind it: a "price ends in" field taking the digits you want, so 5,9 gives that ladder and other digit sets are yours to define. When set, the other rounding fields are ignored
  • Fixed changing a zone's rounding rule now takes effect immediately on variable products. The price-range cache key only carried the zone, so an edited rule kept serving the old cached From prices until the cache happened to expire
  • The backfill can now value orders from before this add-on existed: it reads Price Based on Country's own records from each order (the zone that priced it and the exchange rate at sale), matches against that plugin's stored per-product prices, and treats a par-rate currency as exact - so a shop's whole history can feed upgrade credits instead of refusing
  • Rules saved before this release behave exactly as they always have

1.12.15 August 2026

  • Fixed choosing a currency on a hand-written order now takes effect on screen immediately, instead of the amounts staying in the shop currency until the order was saved
  • Every amount on the order screen - the items you add, the subtotal and the total - shows the chosen currency while you are still composing the order, so what you see while writing the order is what the customer is invoiced

1.12.05 August 2026

  • New choose the currency when you create an order by hand in wp-admin. The list is your shop's own currency plus whatever your zones charge in, so you can raise a GBP or USD invoice for a customer paying by bank transfer
  • The amounts you type are used exactly as typed. Nothing is converted, and the order gets a note saying so, because the figure was agreed with a person rather than worked out from a multiplier
  • The currency is set on the order itself, not just shown, so a customer paying through the order link is charged in that currency by Stripe or PayPal rather than in whatever currency their own country would have seen
  • An order that has already been paid shows its currency but cannot have it changed

1.11.65 August 2026

  • Fixed Summarise rules reported no hand-set prices on a shop that had 23 of them, because Price Based on Country records "this price was typed in" on the parent product while writing the price itself onto each variation
  • Summarise rules now lists any existing price that would move by more than 1%, whether it was typed in or worked out, and says which. A price that was computed under an older rule moves just as much as one somebody chose

1.11.55 August 2026

  • Fixed Summarise rules compared a zone's full price against a base price that was on sale, so a product with a 40% discount was reported as 40% out when nothing was wrong with it
  • Summarise rules now lists only the prices somebody actually typed in, and says how many others merely carry a cached figure Price Based on Country worked out for itself - those are not decisions and listing them buried the ones that are

1.11.45 August 2026

  • New a Summarise rules button on each zone, which checks every price in your catalogue and lists the price points where the rule strays furthest from your plain multiplier, worst first
  • It also tells you how much of your catalogue lands within 1%, 5% and 10% of the multiplier, so you can judge a rounding rule on your real prices rather than on an example
  • Rounding shifts a price by a fixed amount, so it distorts cheap products far more than expensive ones - a round-up-to-10 rule is a rounding error on a 449 product and a 21% surcharge on a 19.99 one, and this is how you find those before a customer does
  • New where a product still carries a per-product price from WooCommerce Price Based on Country, the summary shows what letting the rule take over would change it to. Nothing is written or removed
  • New wp ssapcbp rules <zone> runs the same analysis from the command line

1.11.35 August 2026

  • New every price we refuse to work out is now recorded in a table you can query, one row per order line with the order's currency, date and line total, so you can count how many orders are affected instead of reading one email at a time
  • New the settings screen now shows what has been refused, broken down by reason and order currency, with the range of order dates involved
  • Turning off the "email me when this happens" setting no longer stops the recording, so silencing a noisy alert does not cost you the evidence
  • Changed the alert email said full price was charged. It now says no credit was offered and that nothing has been charged, which is what actually happens, because the check runs while working out what to offer someone rather than at checkout
  • The alert email now tells you how many distinct refusals have been recorded, so one message tells you whether this is a single odd order or half your order history

1.11.24 August 2026

  • Country prices now follow Super Speedy AJAX Prices' new Live test mode, so you can try converted prices on your real shop with only your own browser seeing them. There is nothing to switch on here - turning test mode on in AJAX Prices covers both plugins, deliberately, because two separate test switches could disagree and charge somebody in the wrong currency

1.11.13 August 2026

  • Updated the shared Super Speedy settings module: the Super Speedy MCP tools now also appear on AI Engine's MCP endpoint when AI Engine is active
  • New Check frequency setting - cap licence, update and changelog checks to once a day or once a week, and see when the licence was last checked
  • Licence and changelog checks fail fast when superspeedyplugins.com cannot be reached, instead of hanging the settings page
  • The newest installed copy of the shared Super Speedy settings code now runs site-wide, whichever plugin loads first - previously the alphabetically-first plugin's often-older copy won

1.11.01 August 2026

  • Fixed a logged-in customer is now priced from the address saved on their account when they have not given one this visit.

1.10.131 July 2026

  • Declared compatible with High Performance Order Storage and with the cart and checkout blocks, so WooCommerce no longer lists this add-on as uncertain or stops you switching HPOS on.

1.10.031 July 2026

  • Each zone now prices in its own currency's units, so a yen or won zone shows whole numbers rather than decimals your payment provider would drop.
  • New a Decimal places field on each zone, and a warning when a rounding rule cannot work in that zone's currency.

1.9.031 July 2026

  • New wp ssapcbp backfill records what each line on your past orders was worth in your own currency, so credit and upgrade features work on orders placed before you installed this. Run it with --dry-run first.
  • It separates the lines it can value exactly from the ones it can only estimate, and writes estimates only if you ask for them with --derive-approximate.

1.8.131 July 2026

  • Fixed the block cart, the block checkout and the mini cart now show the visitor's currency, matching the rest of the shop.

1.8.031 July 2026

  • Five ways to exclude products from conversion: how you fulfil them (not downloadable, not virtual), product type, category, tag or tax class. Pick whichever matches how your shop is already organised.
  • Each option shows how many of your products it would catch, so you can see what a rule does before you save it.

1.7.031 July 2026

  • New pick product categories or tax classes that always keep your own prices. Consultancy and installation work is the usual case - the price is your time, and converting it only creates a foreign payment to reconcile.
  • Fixed orders you create by hand in the admin were being priced in the customer's currency rather than yours. They now always use your own prices.

1.6.031 July 2026

  • New choose which payment methods take the visitor's currency. Bank transfer, cheque and cash on delivery start set to your own currency, because that money lands in whatever accounts you actually hold.
  • New if a price ever cannot be worked out, you are emailed straight away and it is logged. The customer is shown full price and asked to get in touch, so nothing is given away.
  • Added guides getting started, what changes for existing customers, and a developer guide for integrating other pricing plugins.

1.5.031 July 2026

  • Every order line now records what it was worth in your own currency at the moment of sale. Your customer still paid, and is still shown, the amount in their currency - this is a separate figure your other plugins can do sums with safely.
  • Plugins that credit a customer for a past purchase can now ask us what a line was worth, and get a clear "cannot tell" rather than a plausible wrong number. That is the difference between charging full price and giving a product away.

1.4.031 July 2026

  • New a panel showing every other plugin on your site that changes prices, which ones run before we convert, and which ones might be working from amounts already recorded in your currency. A diagnostic, not a fix - but it tells you where to look.
  • New plugins that set prices from figures already in your currency (upgrade credit, store credit, deposits) can now register themselves and get their own checkbox here, in their own words.
  • New an integration API so other plugins can do price arithmetic without mixing two currencies in one sum.

1.3.131 July 2026

  • Fixed in "show local prices, charge in yours" mode, the block cart and block checkout now show the price you were quoted next to what is actually being charged. Previously that line only appeared on the classic cart and checkout.
  • Fixed a zone that keeps your prices at the same number but changes the currency - GBP at par with EUR, for example - was being treated as though it did nothing, so visitors in that zone saw your own currency instead of theirs.

1.3.030 July 2026

  • Licensing and updates: this add-on is a separate product with its own licence key, and now checks for its own updates.
  • The add-on can be switched off from the Add-ons panel in Super Speedy AJAX Prices without uninstalling it. Your zones are kept.
  • New option to delete this add-on's settings, zones and per-product prices when it is deleted. Off by default. Order records are always kept - they are accounting history, not settings.
  • Requires Super Speedy AJAX Prices 1.9.3.

1.2.030 July 2026

  • Verified end to end against a real page cache: one cached page, visitors from three countries, each seeing their own currency, including adding to the cart and the header cart total.
  • The Price Based on Country import is now marked Beta and switched off by default. It reads that plugin's internal cache, which is often out of date on a shop that has been repriced, so it is now something you turn on deliberately rather than a button sitting there inviting a click.

1.1.130 July 2026

  • Fixed the Price Based on Country import could pick up a stale cached price from a variable product and pin the whole product to it. It now only imports prices that are genuinely set per product, and tells you what it skipped and why.

1.1.030 July 2026

  • Added a one-click import from WooCommerce Price Based on Country. It shows you what it would do first, and never changes anything belonging to that plugin, so you can go back.
  • "Show local prices, charge in yours" now says so at the checkout as well as on the product page, showing the exact figure you were quoted next to what will actually be charged.
  • Added a warning when none of your payment gateways accept a zone's currency, and customers in that situation are now shown your own prices so they can still check out.

1.0.030 July 2026

  • First release.
