1.7.1322 August 2026
- Updated super-speedy-settings to the latest version
1.7.1221 August 2026
- Hardened the shared settings module and removed its Jetpack Autoloader dependency
1.7.1118 August 2026
- Updated
super-speedy-settingsto 1.8.0, restoring the official WordPress MCP Adapter
1.7.1014 August 2026
- Replaced the bundled MCP Adapter and AI Engine integration with one shared Abilities bridge, a dedicated least-privilege agent user and separate execute and plugin-install permissions
1.7.913 August 2026
- Fixed a fatal class redeclaration when multiple active Super Speedy plugins bundled the same Jetpack Autoloader; shared MCP packages now load once from the newest settings module
1.7.813 August 2026
- Added an MCP setup page and bundled the official WordPress MCP Adapter, while deferring to the official standalone plugin when installed
1.7.713 August 2026
- New an "Enable out-of-stock waitlist" checkbox on each product. It uses the existing message, arrival date and email-provider settings, but only replaces Add to Cart while WooCommerce reports the product out of stock
- New out-of-stock products show a "Notify Me" button in shop and category archives, linking to the product's waitlist form. Backordered products remain purchasable
- Updated the MCP product listing now includes both manual Coming Soon products and configured out-of-stock waitlists, with their active mode and stock status
- Fixed products without an arrival date no longer flash four empty countdown boxes for a second
1.7.612 August 2026
- Fixed the signup form and the plugin description both claimed that sharing your referral link increases your priority in the queue. Referrals are recorded against whoever referred you, and the signups screen and CSV export show them, but nothing ranks or prioritises by them. The claim has been removed from both
- Fixed the coming-soon signup panel vanished from the product page when Super Speedy Ajax Prices had stock refresh on. Its script preloader renders the add-to-cart area behind the scenes during the page head, and that hidden render was using up the panel's once-per-page allowance. Renders during the page head no longer count, so the panel always appears for your visitors
1.7.511 August 2026
- Updated super-speedy-settings to the latest version
1.7.46 August 2026
- Updated the shared Super Speedy settings module: the Super Speedy wordmark on the settings header is now a crisp high-resolution image with a dark-text variant
1.7.33 August 2026
- Updated the shared Super Speedy settings module: AI agents can check your licence and install other Super Speedy plugins over MCP, now also exposed on AI Engine's MCP endpoint when AI Engine is active
- New Check frequency setting - cap licence, update and changelog checks to once a day or once a week, and see when the licence was last checked
- Licence and changelog checks fail fast when superspeedyplugins.com cannot be reached, instead of hanging the settings page
- The newest installed copy of the shared Super Speedy settings code now runs site-wide, whichever plugin loads first - previously the alphabetically-first plugin's often-older copy won
- AI agents can read and change the signup-form settings over MCP (API keys never echoed back) and list the coming-soon products with their waitlist counts - also exposed on AI Engine's MCP endpoint
1.7.228 July 2026
- HOTFIX: signup forms on products configured under 1.5 were dead. 1.6 reworked the SSE integration from picking a form (
_sscs_sse_form_id) to picking a list (_sscs_sse_list_id) with no migration, so those products kept providerssewith an empty list id and every signup attempt returned "Signups are not configured for this product" - before the local capture, so nothing was recorded either. A one-time migration now resolves each legacy form to the first list it subscribes to, via Super Speedy Emails' own data. It retries until SSE is active rather than marking itself done while it cannot resolve.
1.7.128 July 2026
- HOTFIX: coming-soon products had their ENTIRE product page centred, long description and all. The
sscs-coming-soonclass added to archive tiles in 1.7.0 is applied on thewoocommerce_post_classfilter, which also fires on the single product view, so the class landed on the product'sarticleelement. It matched.sscs-coming-soon { text-align:center }- the rule written for the signup panel - and every child inherited it. The tile class is nowsscs-coming-soon-tile, so the two no longer collide. If you styled tiles againstsscs-coming-soon, switch tosscs-coming-soon-tile.
1.7.026 July 2026
- New products marked Coming Soon now show a "Coming Soon" button on shop and category archives instead of the usual add-to-cart or select-options label, and it links to the product page rather than the cart. A coming-soon product has no purchasable variation yet so the tile shows no price - the button now explains why instead of inviting a purchase that cannot complete.
- Coming-soon tiles also get an
sscs-coming-soonCSS class, and the button text is filterable viasscs_coming_soon_button_text.
1.6.524 July 2026
- Updated super-speedy-settings (shared across all Super Speedy plugins): added a settings-version report to the licence-check and download requests for better licence and update-download debugging
1.6.420 July 2026
- Updated super-speedy-settings to the latest version
1.6.318 July 2026
- Updated super-speedy-settings to the latest version
1.6.210 July 2026
- Updated super-speedy-settings refreshed the Super Speedy settings page with new plugin and service-panel icons (shared across all Super Speedy plugins).
1.6.110 July 2026
- Added Super Speedy Settings integration for licence management and automatic updates.
1.63 July 2026
- New block theme support — on block themes (e.g. Twenty Twenty-Five) where WooCommerce renders the product via its blockified template, the coming-soon block now replaces the Add to Cart block; classic themes continue to work via the add-to-cart hook
- New internal list system — every signup is now captured to the local database first (with the product it belongs to and an optional name), then synced to the configured provider as a second step, so signups are never lost if the provider call fails
- New "CSV List (internal only)" email provider option for collecting signups without any external provider
- New optional "Collect subscriber name" toggle per product, adding a name field to the signup form
- New "Coming Soon Signups" admin page (WooCommerce menu) showing per-product signup counts, with CSV export for all products or a single product
- Changed Super Speedy Emails now uses our own signup form (captured locally first) and subscribes to an SSE list directly instead of rendering an SSE form — double opt-in is respected automatically when the chosen list requires confirmation
- Upgrade note: SSE products now pick an "SSE List" instead of an "SSE Form"; existing SSE coming-soon products need a list selected on the product before signups will be accepted
- Changed the same email address can now join the waitlist for multiple products (unique per email + product instead of email alone)
- Changed the referral cookie is now the site's own subscriber id (
sscs_subscriber_id) instead of the raw MailerLite id, which is no longer exposed to the browser - Changed honeypot field renamed so it no longer collides with the real name field
- Database:
wp_sscs_signupsgainsproduct_id,subscriber_nameand a renamedexternal_idcolumn (migrated automatically on upgrade)
1.5.423 June 2026
- Fixed signup form was being output at the bottom of every page (including non-coming-soon pages) via an unconditional wp_footer hook — form now only renders on products marked as Coming Soon
- Fixed plugin JS and CSS were being enqueued on every page — now only loaded on coming-soon product pages
- Fixed wp_localize_script was outputting an inline
sscs_ajaxdata block on every page, which could interfere with other AJAX/JSON responses - Removed leftover console.log debug statements in the AJAX signup script
- Internal: initialised $subscriber_id explicitly in the MailerLite API helper to silence potential undefined-variable notices
1.531 March 2026
- Added Super Speedy Emails integration as an alternative to MailerLite
- New Email Provider dropdown on the product edit page to choose between MailerLite and SSE
- When SSE is selected, a form picker lists all active SSE forms for easy selection
- SSE forms render inline with full styling, fields, and AJAX handling from the SSE form editor
- Provider-specific fields toggle visibility based on selection
1.430 March 2026
- Replaced template override with hook-based approach for theme-independent add-to-cart replacement
- Add-to-cart is now unhidden at priority 29 on woocommerce_single_product_summary, just before it would run
- Works for all product types (simple, variable, grouped, external) and no longer requires a price to be set
- Updated CSS to use standard WooCommerce selectors instead of theme-specific classes
