Overview of Next Page
Next Page is a lightweight WordPress plugin that enables loading the next page of posts or products via AJAX, with configurable triggers for automatic scroll loading or a click-to-load button. It focuses on simplicity and broad theme compatibility.
How Auto Infinite Scroll differs from Next Page
All plugins from Super Speedy Plugins share a SQL-first architecture and an uncompromising focus on performance — and Auto Infinite Scroll is no different. Here is what sets it apart:
Page-by-page navigation breaks browsing momentum, and losing their place after opening a product is worse. Auto Infinite Scroll appends the next archive page automatically or behind a Load More button, then restores the shopper’s saved position when they press Back.
Next Page is deliberately minimal, relying on standard WordPress pagination under the hood. Auto Infinite Scroll replaces the underlying query mechanism with SQL-first direct database queries, giving faster AJAX responses and more control over the loading experience — particularly on large product archives where standard pagination can lag.
How to choose between Next Page and Auto Infinite Scroll?
Next Page is a simple, low-overhead option for basic use cases. For stores where archive query speed matters, Auto Infinite Scroll's SQL-first architecture delivers meaningfully faster AJAX loads. Tested against one-million-product catalogues, with a free trial available.
What do others say about Auto Infinite Scroll?
A must-have plugin if you use some option in Scalability Pro to speed up your webshop. But even without that, it really does what it says and makes the products endless scroll, making it faster for the client to scroll through the products.
After already seeing huge speed increases with the Scalability Pro plugin I decided to purchase the rest of the plugins in the WPI Performance Pack, including this Auto Infinite Scroll plugin. Within a few minutes I had configured the wrapper parameters and I was up an running. It works perfectly!! A great feature is when the user clicks on a product from the shop page and then clicks the "back" button this plugin remembers where they were on the shop page and saves them scrolling back down to where they were – this is something I've never seen before and I've used ALOT of infinite scrollers! By combining the plugins from the WPIntense I now have a WordPress site with over 5k items on an average server with load times of under 3secs! I really can't rate WPIntense enough. In a competitive online world customer experience is everything and WPIntense have realised this. Thanks for everything!
Due to the good experiences with other first-class plugins from wpintense (Scalability Pro, faster-woo-widgets), we immediately purchased the lifetime licence for WPI Auto Infinite Scroll without thinking. The plugin works great and is a good extension for our (especially mobile) visitors. The support (also individual problems) immediately responded to our wishes and also suggestions for improvement. A forum is available for customers, which provides solutions within a very short time!
